CVHS

A Cappella S/A is the large advanced choir for sophomore, junior, and senior sopranos and altos.  It functions as its own ensemble who performs Treble Choir repertoire, and also comprises one third of the competitive Castro Valley A Cappella Choir, who rehearse together once a month after school.  In 2018 A Cappella Choir earned the honor of First Place Concert Choir in the state of California.   Membership in this choir is open by audition and at the discretion of the director.  This class is designed for students who are taking choir for the second, third, or fourth time.
