A Capella T/B
A Cappella T/B is the large advanced choir for sophomore, junior, and senior tenors and basses. It functions as its own ensemble who performs Tenor/Bass Choir repertoire, and also comprises one third of the competitive Castro Valley A Cappella Choir, who rehearse together once a month after school. In 2018 A Cappella Choir earned the honor of First Place Concert Choir in the state of California. Membership in this choir is open by audition and at the discretion of the director. This class is designed for students who are taking choir for the second, third, or fourth time. The class emphasizes music theory and the development of vocal technique, posture and rehearsal and performance practice.
